How are they different?

An ethernet connection is easily the most secure way to provide internet connectivity to EV chargers. It’s also not that difficult to wire up. Since each charging station needs its own wiring, it’s a quick addition to run an ethernet cable right alongside the station’s power and grounding cables. When given the option, choosing ethernet will always be the most stable, effective answer to keeping your chargers online and ready to go!
The methods described above are all for connecting chargers directly to the internet. However, from an installation standpoint, some projects may require a different approach.
