Position: Part-Time Technical Support Engineer
Work location: Brisbane

Tasks & responsibilities

  1. Manage and triage incidents and service requests assigned to team queues in ZenDesk or support email systems
    2. Providing appropriate solutions to the technical issues faced by the customers.
    3. Direct and coordinate a team of tech support specialists/help desk technicians
    4. Prioritizing and dealing with the issues in a timely manner.
    5. Follow up with customers to gauge their satisfaction with problem resolution
    6. Keeping track of customer queries and resolving the issues as early as possible.
    7. Track the progress of assigned tickets with a focus on meeting delivery deadlines
    8. Provide data and reporting of KPIs and trends to Management ad hoc, weekly, monthly, and as needed.

Requirements

  • A diploma/Certificate or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Hardware, or an IT-related field.
  • 2 years of working in a Technical Support Role.
  • Thorough understanding of technology, software, and hardware.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
